This thermostat serves as the high limit control for Blodgett model BK series food warmers that have a 2 inch flange. It has a sensing bulb and capillary tube that monitors the temperature inside the warmer. If the temperature rises above the set point, this safety thermostat will shut off power to prevent overheating.
