The Duke 512602 is a backflow valve assembly designed for use in commercial kitchen appliances. It features a compact brass body construction with chrome plating for durability. This 1/2" NPT valve assembly incorporates an atmospheric vacuum breaker that prevents backflow and back-siphonage to comply with ASSE plumbing standards. The spring-loaded check valve opens at 0.5 psi to allow water flow and closes tightly when pressure reverses. It can handle water temperatures up to 180°F at working pressures of up to 125 psi.
