The Kolpak 550007007 is a 1/4" bulb expansion valve for commercial refrigeration systems. It has an automatic adjustable external equalizer with 30" capillary tubing. The inlet connection is 3/8" ODF solder type and the outlet connection is 1/2" ODF solder type. This copper expansion valve is suitable for R404A, R448A, R449A and R507 refrigerants. It precisely meters the flow of liquid refrigerant entering the evaporator to maintain superheat. This helps ensure efficient operation of the refrigeration system.
