This relay is designed for use in commercial refrigerator and freezer compressor circuits to assist with start up. Features heavy duty contacts and coil that allow for high inrush currents required during compressor start up. Rated for 277VAC and 40A maximum load. Includes mounting tabs and wire leads for secure installation and wiring. Follow all manufacturer specifications and local electrical codes when installing. Replaces old or failed relays to restore proper operation of compressor. 1-year warranty from Multiplex.
